OK, so Christmas and New Years is over. The garland is all pulled down, the lights have been removed from the house, and the present wrappings are all taken away in the trash.

So now what? Well, Mom is gearing up towards Easter. Had me put the boxes back in storage so that they're date-sorted, so maybe it won't be as bad next year.

The good news is, I made contact with Beth, a long lost cousin, that I haven't spoken to in twenty years. Yeah, I'm not that much of a writer, so before email was the thing, I just didn't keep in touch. My bad.

Spent New Years Eve with Mom (Dad went to bed) and forgot to open the bottle of bubbly. Guess I passed the non-alcoholic test, eh? It was sparkling cider anyway... heheh
