"Dingo" Dave's rants and raves

I spent the day trolling the shops, looking for ANY that had tshirt with Paris or something like that but I haven't seen a tshirt on sale in ANY of the shops I've been into. And it's not like this is a high-end neighborhood.

Anyway, in my meanderings, I came across the Gare du Nord (Park North) above. It's the local train station for northern Paris, and just like the one at Gare de L'est across the street from my hotel. Not sure why they needed two major train stations within a couple miles of each other, but hey, it's France, eh?

So I'm planning on getting up early tomorrow to try to get in line early for going up in the Eiffel Tower. WIth my fear of heights they may never pry my hands off the railing, but I'll try to get some pictures anyway. heheh
